Mushroom masala is one of the easy curry recipe with white button mushrooms. This goes perfect with roti, paratha or plain rice, pulao. I have not added cream to this recipe. Instead I used milk to get better taste. Let us see how to make this easy mushroom curry.
- 1 big onion
- 2 big tomatoes
- 300 gram mushroom
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 4 Kashmiri chillies
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala or goda masala
- 6 Almonds
- 4 cashew nuts
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp oil or butter.
- Salt to taste.
- Chopped Coriander leaves little .
- 1 tsp jeera.
Heat little water add onion with out skin.
Add tomatoes in hot water and remove skin.
Grind onion,tomatoes,Kashmiri chillies,almonds and cashew. Add water and make into a nice paste.
Heat kadai add oil.when it is hot add jeera.Now add ginger garlic paste. let it fry. Then add ground paste. Saute well.
Add little water and again saute. Let the paste become thick.
Add coriander powder and goda masala or Garam masala. Fry for few seconds. Now add milk little by little and mix well immediately. Otherwise it may curdle. Add desired amount of water and salt.
Now add sliced mushrooms. Cover cook on slow flame for 5 minutes. Switch off flame. Garnish with coriander leaves.
